STEPS to NAVIGATE the VID PROCESS STEP 1. Determine with the customer the inspiration style , create a Vision Board with any and all likes/Dislikes . STEP 2. CREATE & SUBMIT the VID request in SALESFORCE:  In SFDC, access the Child Account for your VID request.  From the TOC header options , Select Design Development Request  Select New Design Development Request  In the Request Type dropdown select Custom New Silhouette or Custom Sublimation  Complete the required fields & Select SAVE  Scroll down to the Custom Request section & select New Custom Request  Fill in all the required Information. Make sure to Include ( calls will not be scheduled without all this information in SF ): ➢ Final Garment need by date ➢ Out the door price per uniform ➢ Anticipated number of athletes ordering. ➢ PT ship to address ( Best Practice - Ship the PT to you, so you can anticipate any concerns prior to the customer seeing the garment) ➢ Customer Contacts (who will be included in the design session) make sure all decision makers will be present! Best Practice- Most Reps select themselves as the contact here so they receive the autogenerated emails and can manage presenting the information to their customer. ➢ Garment Information : Top Base Women’s, Bottom Base Women’s, Top Base Men’s , Details, Fabrics requested, Lettering Info (include Style Codes for previously used lettering), Neckline Design, Back Design, What type and How much Sparkle ➢ Upload your Vision Board of Design Inspiration here.

 Select Save  You will be taken to the VID Request, scroll to the top and select Submit.  You will receive a chatter notification via email to set up the call time.

Preparing for the Call

 Conduct a Consult that discusses custom design. Snip ideas together to create a Vision Board, look at catalogs and any social media inspiration. Have swatches, rhinestones, sequins all laid out. Make sure to talk about the budget and deadlines. This should be done prior to setting up your VID. We want to keep as many customers as possible In-Line and only use the VID process for highly competitive situations.
