IN-LINE DESIGN SESSION GUIDANCE
STEPS to NAVIGATE the In-Line Design Session Request PROCESS STEP 1. Determine with the customer the inline garment style , any inline embellishments and design inspiration . STEP 2. CREATE & SUBMIT the IN-LINE DESIGN SESSION REQUEST in SALESFORCE: In SFDC, access the Child Account for your In-Line Design Session request. From the TOC header options , Select Design Development Request Select New Design Development Request In the Request Type dropdown select In-Line Design Session Request Complete the required fields & Select SAVE Scroll down to the Visual Prototype Request section & select New Visual Prototype Request Fill in all the required Information. Make sure to Include: Select Save In the Files section, click on Upload Files & upload the Vision Board, OMS Summary, any Custom Lettering files, PSQ lettering files. Select Close. Click on the Design Development Request hyperlink and select Submit Visual Prototype Request. You will receive a chatter notification via email to set up the call time. Preparing for the Call Conduct a Consult that discusses the custom design. Snip ideas together to create a Vision Board, look at catalogs and any social media inspiration. Have swatches, rhinestones, sequins all laid out. Make sure to talk budget and deadlines. Ask Best Days/ Times to have the call. An OMS summary or VDS PDF showing all included in-line style codes must be uploaded to the request before submitting. Please Provide as much detail as possible in the comments of the request (customer preferences, lettering options, logo files, design inspiration.) Requests submitted without complete information will delay your call being scheduled. A budget is required on the In-Line Design Session Request. Rep will share the Teams meeting with the customer. Custom Lettering should not be requested for this specific garment prior to the call. Logos should be attached to the request. During the Call Rep should have OMS open (and VASF Line Review if using a VASF garment) with the inline styles added to the customer’s OMS order. This will allow Reps to see what fabrics and colors are available as well as any production limitations. BEST PRACTICE – Meeting the customer in person for the call so you have fabric swatches etc is best if there are still questions on what fabrics/ embellishments the customer wants to use.
