VISUAL PROTOTYPE GUIDANCE

INTERACTIVE CHECKLIST for effectively navigating the VISUAL PROTOTYPE REQUEST (VPT) process. A VPT can be requested for the following when criteria are met:

 Garment(s) with Lettering  Lettering Proof

 Pattern Check  Letterman Jackets, Signs, Megs (Bows)

REMINDERS: VPTs are not necessary if all styles (garment, lettering, embellishments) are in VDS/Corel. Always check for available In-line embellishments using these resources: VSF Embellishment Resources | VASF Embellishment Resources VPTs are not allowed for custom lettering proofs & patterns. These should be requested through the CLR Artist/process. VPT can be requested IF Garments, lettering, or embellishments are NOT available in VDS/Corel, and you are unable to complete the design. STEPS to NAVIGATE the VPT PROCESS STEP 1. INITIATE the design in VDS/COREL/COLOR MY JACKET. STEP 2. REQUEST CLR/PSQ’s , if needed & FINALIZE OMS ORDER. The VPT process uses orderable style codes & PSQ’s to create a customer facing visual.  Request CLRs for custom panel embellishments & confirmed custom lettering or PSQ’s if still exploring lettering for the garment before requesting a VPT.  Save PSQ Art/Ticker file from SFDC to upload with your VPT Request  In OMS , Review GARMENT voucher details carefully to verify :  All required fields are completed.  Color Set Up is compliant with garment guidelines.  Color on Color. If intended, select COC OK in detail screen and/ include voucher comments.  In OMS, Review LETTERING voucher details carefully in OMS to verify :  Requested lettering style/placement/colors are approved for the garment  You may only request inline garment specific flash apps for the approved garments , even if you are still exploring designs. STEP 3. CREATE & SUBMIT the VPT REQUEST in SALESFORCE:  In SFDC, access the Account for your VPT request.  From the TOC header options , Select Design Development Request  Select New Design Development Request  In the Request Type dropdown select Visual Prototype Request  Complete the required fields & Select SAVE  Scroll down to the Visual Prototype Requests section & select New Visual Prototype Request  Select the applicable Request Type from the drop down

 You are allowed to submit up to 2 VPT requests per DDR.  Both requests must be within the same product category.  When submitting 2 VPT requests they must be the same TYPE of

 Garment(s) with Lettering – Pg 2  Lettering Proof – Pg 3

 Pattern Check – Pg 3  Letterman Jackets, Signs, Megs (Bows) – Pg 4
